Master of Ceremonies
Chuck Stroschein (aka “Breakdancing Kakashi”) has been dancing since the tender age of eighteen. He first started his guest appearances at conventions as a performer for Concept Galaxy in 2009 at Realmscon. He was first discovered by chance at a cosplay contest at Anime Festival Orlando by Concept Galaxy Producer, Stephanie Chateau. Impressed with his ability to work a crowd, dance skills, and sincere love for the character he portrayed, Stephanie asked Chuck to do an opening dance number for a show in St. Augustine, FL. Shortly after it’s success he was asked to join as a permanent member of the troupe.
Since that fateful day he has been dancing his way into the hearts of many at conventions. Sometimes as a cosplay guest performer, sometimes as a competitor, and sometimes just going for fun. Chuck has won multiple awards as a competitor including four “Best of Show” awards over the years at Anime Festival Orlando, as well as a “Best of Show” at Shadocon, and a “crowd favorite” at Metrocon.
These days Chuck stays busy working at different entertainment companies by day and helping write scripts, coordinate rehearsals, and performance coaching for Concept Galaxy by night. This probably won’t stop him though from finding time to sneak away for a bit and get his dance party on with all his friends and fans when he can smell a convention RAVE cooking.
